Harrumph.
So, back from the doctors. Harrumph. The NHS is WAY over-rated, you know. And I'm ALLOWED to say that, I have two parents who are nurses for the NHS... anyhoo, at doctors, was a different doctor than my usual GP, and this new guy was as mad a coot. This was a bad start. Explained symptoms and odd night-time behaviour. I have been informed to rest, drink fluids and have got prescription for sleeping pills so odd night-time recurrances do not occur again.
Am not taking tablets, but smiled and thanked madman anyway. They may come in handy one of the days. Then told him I couldn't rest- tomorrow is Friday.
"You can't go out clubbing or whatever you're going to do, you need rest."
"No, I have a history essay to do in school, then I have a tap lesso which I can't miss, and then I have Guides. It's our dress rehersal!"
"You can't go. Take a break for a week."
"I have no choice! I'll rest on Saturday [omitting that I have my jazz lesson then] but I can't scive tomorrow."
Mad doctor now thinks I'm mad, but left it there. Went home and whinged to Mum, who laughed at me, before telling me I could go to school, but not dance or Guides.
We shall see about that.
