Due to the majority of my flist moving here, I'm henceforth going to mostly use this account as a mirror to my LJ, so I'm able to keep in contact with people. As such, my info:
The truth is usually just an excuse for a lack of imagination. Garak, Deep Space Nine.
(It's not that I'm not imaginative, but I am painfully honest, sometimes.)
I have a very good degree from one of the best universities in the country. So obviously I work on a farm in a low-paid admin job and live a phantom Google town. (That bit is true.) This is possibly some sort of metaphor for my existence. I'm in the process of trying to get a more exciting job in a more exciting city; if you're reading this, do let me know if you're hiring.
In the interim, I'm still a really big geek. Half the reason I want a well-paid job is so I can justify convention attendence more often! I adore Doctor Who, Star Trek, Discworld, stuff with zombies and vampires, and a whole heap of other things. Ask me and we can talk about it!
In the meanwhile, I accept hard currency, red wine and job offers.
(I'm just saying.)
