My mum's FANTASTIC. She really is. She just came in "Okay. Where's this dress you want?" She's frelling fantastic, she really is. She took at look at the dress, and then the following conversation ensued:
Mum: "Oh. Thats nice."
Me: "Isn't it?"
Mum: "Are there any others?"
After reawakeing from my dead faint, I searched for a site where some woman MAKES dresses from LOTR. Yeehaw. Printed off various piccies, of Eowyn (first choice), Galadriel (the net-curtain one, you know? PLUS it'd be quite cheap I hope) and Arwen. You've SEEN that dress already. Mum has looked at the site, harrumphed at the prices, and promised to take them to a dressmkaer and see what we can do for a. making it or b. updating an old dress.
I know I'm being horribly fangirly about this, but I'm ecstatic. And hopeful.
And I WILL stop talking about this now.
Although it would be a REALLY good dress to wear at SG6... not for a costume, just... cos.
