hathycolSlight moment of panic when Mum informs me that Hellspawn is having a sleepover. Much shrieking of "Why didn't you TELL me!" "I needed a weeks warning!" and other hysteria.
Then I find out that Hellspawn is actually going to some other unlucky soul's house for the night. Phew. Freedom for a night, just me and Mum instead- Dad's working a late tonight and won't be back until about 10.00. So we're eating baked potatoes, which may not sound like a lot, but it's a meal me and Mum love and the rest loathe. Mmmm.
Yes. I'm still hungry. I've made do with cups of tea and a mantra of "I will WAIT to eat, I will WAIT to eat" but those potatoes smell really good...
I think I'll go and make something to go with them. Mmm, mayonnaise...
