hathycolHello from Wengen! Im using a very strabge keyboard, so apologies for the lousy grammer on the way. Ive escaped from the Guides and am actually hiding in a bar to get this message out. How are you all in England? You think its hot there, try being here. Its FORTY degrees celscius, and you all know how merrily I burn. Factor 30 every hour, and its still a close call.
Its nice here though, despite the fact that I have no suitable clothes and have been wearing pretty much the same outfit. Stupid me thought that itd be cold on a montain. Ha! I have yet to get near snow. Weve been up a fair few mountains, cable cars and other such stuff, as well as laying about by the pool, which is 15 mins away. The hotel mings, to put it blunty. The guy running it evidently doesnt like us, and the food is nasty too. Still, we dont spend a lot of time there.
16 tomorrow! Yay! Best part is that in Switzerland, the legal drinking age is 16. Bring on tomorrow.
I miss being geeky, I miss the internet, I hate having to be straight, I miss music and I miss everyone. But yet Im still having a ball. If I had a net connection (which I do right now. Im over 1000ft up and I hacve the Net!) itd be heaven. And ïf it snowed.
Anyway, I have to meet the Guides in three minutes, so Ill run. See you all on THursday!

Date: 2003-08-10 12:48 pm (UTC)Although that was in Adleboden I think. I wish I remembered more of the names of the places I went to. Have you been to the Nesle chocolate factory? Or walked along a mountain that had a little hut shop just randomly along it where they sold wooden things that you could get your name engraved on?
Have you been to some caves that has a shop that sells walking sticks with wierd and wonderful handles?
Oh how I miss Switzerland. I'd love to go back you know. It was lovely.
