I blame [livejournal.com profile] mettanna entirely for this.

The fucksome trio indeed. They're incomplete
without one another and you know it. You live
to see them with one another, no matter what.

Which Lord of the Rings character and personality problem are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

I'm not entirely sure what to say about that.

I am still in a state of terminal boredom. Last night, I went upstairs, I watched the first part of the "100 Greatest TV Characters Ever" and didn't spot anyone SF based. Buffy might scrape it, Dr Who might, a few Star Trekkers, but that'll be it. We are under-appreciated.

Was mildy gratified to see Bernard Hill twice. He seems to have been in I, Claudius and something called Yosser Hughes. I didn't know this show had existed. I was also suprised to see Bernard Hill playing a Scouser, since he is from Manchester and all. When I came down and told Dad about that this morning, he started on one of his rants about how well it showed the terrible unemployment of the 80's. If I had known, I wouldn't have asked. All I knew was that Dad was a Bernard Hill fan!

(Dad was, apparently, unemployed for a time in the 80's. He was the thick brother of the family, the only one that failed the 11+, and went on to be a bricklayer and docker type thing. He went into psychiatric nursing because it was the only thing you got paid for training. Now Dad is a team leader. The other two brothers, the ones that went to various grammar schools, went on to be a county counciller, who was framed for fraud a while ago and is now closing down all the care homes, and the other is an unemployed art teacher. Funny old world, isn't it?)

ANYWAY. Only woke up at 12.30 this morning. I was having a really good dream- it involved jumping realities in a phonebox, and when it didn't work I went on a rollarcoaster in the phone box. It suddenly jumped to a year outing, with my old year from school. Except it wasn't our school uniform- it was a darker blue, and we all had these bags, except for me. And Philippa Dooley. Why Philippa? I dunno. Anyway, I was pretending to the teachers that I had mine, and Katie promised to buy me one when we got to the gift shop. We were all on this really posh underground train, and when we stopped, the driver says over the intercom "Helm's Deep! Time to get off!"

Honest to god, we went on a school trip to Helm's Deep. Through the mountains.

Do I have weird and freaky dreams or what?

I also watched Fool For Love this morning. Since I was bored, and I had only seem snippets of the episode before. In fact, I've not even seen most of season 5... we got Sky then, and I sorta missed the first half by accident and I can remember watching The Gift thinking "What the hell is going on? Dawn is a key? What?" I liked Fool For Love. Hey, who doesn't like Spike when he was still a credible character? And Darla and Dru. Bless their little, highly evil, hearts.

"I think our boys our going to fight!"
"The King of cups has set a picnic, but it is not his birthday!"
"Um... yeah. Good point."

Blah. Babbling out of sheer boredom, methinks.
