Awakeness

It's a Sunday. Cooking still not done. Will start going at lunchtimes, methinks. Have five days, will easily manage it!

I'm screwed.

Anyway. Have only been awake for about two hours after some mighty weird dreams that involved Elladan, Thengal, Theoden, Me, the Safeway car park and two random women from Beyond the Hanging Wall named Elena and Venetia. The REALLY weird part is, there's no character called Elena in Beyond the Hanging Wall!

Fricking bizarre, let me tell you.

I'm currently in physical pain. Stooooopid dancing. I ignored my abdominal muscles and they ignored me, and we were happy like that. anyway, using them yesterday means they have now gone to strike, and hurt like hell. Mum just laughed at me. Charming mother, as usual.

Lovely sunny day again. Have spent said two hours in the garden with The Book of Lost Tales- Chapter One. To be honest, not particulary impressed- adds some more depth, but I liked the Unfinished Tales better. (Despite the fact I couldn't look at the name Teleporno without bursting into giggles. Thank god Tolkien changed it to Celeborn, which is MUCH better.)

Well, thats my nice boring entry. Think I'll go back into the garden and put on some loud music and read Beyond the Hanging Wall. Again. Woohoo!

Firstly, well done Something Corporate! Number 33. AND bigger well done to the Flash Gorden remix, in at 14.

There's something very wrong with the world.

So... have done buggar all today, since my last update. Ooooh, but I did eat a baked potato. Ever since watching Diet Trials, my own confidence has shot up (they had loads of people who were shorter than me, weighed more than me and didn't look overweight AT ALL. Has given me a reason to jack in the diet, woohoo!) and I've also grown to appreciate the humble carbohhydrate, after watching all those miserable people on the Atkins Diet. Eating poatoes and pasta tastes much better. And baked potatoes, especially with swathes of mayonnaise and butter.... delicious.

Just give me a pointy hat and call my Rincewind. (A free virtual baked potato to anyone who gets the refernece)

And now I'm eating chocolate fudge cake, and reading what is still my ultimate Mellon Chronicles fic- Captive of Darkness. Whumpilicious.

Aaaaah, bless. Gareth Gates is number one. Weird and twisted person I may be, I really like this song. And I LOVE the dance routine. Wish I could do it, but tried that style of dancing once in the Dance Congress. I was crap, so no real change.

Aha! I know what I came to post about!

In the course of today, I finally watched Buffy from this week and some old Farscape, and I realised two things:

1. There is a very good reason why we like whumping. Sick and twisted though I may be, after watching this weeks Buffy, I KNOW why we like whumping. Sarah Michelle Gellor had never registered on my personal 'phwoaaar' chart before now (my best friend is male, can you tell?) until this episode. She was all vulnerable, and looked about ten times more attractive- AFTER she'd had the snot beaten out of her by the badass vamp. I now know why we all like whumping! 'Nuff said.

2. I miss Zhaan! *wails* Not as much as I miss Jool, but both of them are kickass characters, and Zhaan is one of those characters that shaped Moya. I miss her something chronic. Blue baldie that she was. ;)

Anyway. Thats is for my random posting, I'm going to go and have a shower....
