I've got a hole in my sock. I know it's not a big deal, but it's a very big hole, and I like these socks.

Ah, randomness.

Anyway, last night. Had rehersal, which was... odd. My character is slightly weirder than I originally thought. Apparently she's going for the "flustered" look, which apparently I do really well. Apparently. :P Got a lift in with Helen, who was going to the same gig as me that night, which was a scary coincidence.

(This is going to be a really disjointed account, I can tell...)

So, came home from rehersal and got ready, and was rather proud with my final look, although the first thing my Mum said was "I can tell you've been listening to Marilyn Manson in your time off" (charming) which I was slightly worried by: black blouse and a black vest top underneath, blue jeans, black boots, straightened hair (egads!)and black nail varnish, which is a fairly regular occurance for me... ah well. May have been the make up. (I'll leave it your imagination, but I was definately going for the "smoky" eyes)

Anyway, waited outside with Simon and Andrew, and Lorna turned up, so in we went. Most of our year was there, but I sat with (learn these names, for they are important)

Lorna
Andrew
Simon The Absinthe Fairy
Danny
Day
Matt
Al
Rhiannon

It was a good night. I didn't drink *preens* since had to gt up early the next morning, so nursed an orange juice quite happily, while watching the band from school. They were.... OK.

Next band was crap, not to put too fine a point on it. I've hears some bad covers of Greenday in my time, but this had to be the worst. So everyone spent the time getting slowly more drunk, including ***** who's name I'm blanking out at their request. The third band I was cheering mentally over. Not because of the music, but because the lead singer had a TTT t-shirt, the Ring Poem as a tattoo and he kept on doing Gollum and Grishnakh impressions. Woooooooooooooo!

So, by this point, there was me, sober as a judge, and lots of other people getting steadily more rat-arsed, which worked well in my favour. Mostly, they were funny, AND got off with Lorna in the process. (Should I write that here? KT doesn't read this. I hope.) So, yay me!

However, Helen was also at the gig, as was Joanna. Both of them have been giving me very strange looks in dance this morning. "No... is she?" So there's the downside, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Danny and Day were hilarious. "I've had... EIGHT! AN' I got served. An' I've had blue WKD. Or it might have been red. Dunno, can' 'member... oh, I'm pissed..."

Left at about 10.45, but went to bed late, due to ringing in ears. (I'm so rock and roll) Woke up at 8, went to dancing completly comatose, learnt bits of new dances and can't remember any of it, and Helen gave me weird looks (so I copped off with a female in the middle of the Comrades Club! Big deal!) but... hey.

It was fun.

Unfortunately, Mum's not well, so, with my fairly achey head, have to cope with housework and stuff. Need to make potatoes and stuff soon, which will be a joy. *rolls eyes* Pass the paracetamol, someone?

Random doodlings in my LiveJournal, because it's either this or Casualty, and I'm trying desperately not to think about the big tub of Ben and Jerry's in the freezer.

Oh, buggar. That didn't work.

Mmmm, Ben and Jerry's. I love the stuff, I really do. In fact, I like all ice cream. WAAAAY too much.

Mmmm. Fattening....

Yeah. I should go and do something useful, shouldn't I?

Nicked from [livejournal.com profile] loneraven... cus I'm still bored.

1. Your Live Journal "user name" & what it means: My name's been Colleen for... oh... nearly 16 years now :P and I've never dropped or changed the handle of Hathor. But Hathor was taken, I don't like Colleen enough to use it and Col is boring and short. Some people call me Hathy as a nickname. Some people call my Col as a nickname. Sarah calls me both. Therefore, Hathy_Col was born, neatly entailing both my "names"

2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your Live Journal represent who you actually are? Depends, but about a nine. I'm pretty much the same online, although perhaps a tad more understandable. In RL, I talk too much and too fast.

3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?
Most things about MY life, but nothing personal about other people's lives. If stuff's too personal about me, then I keep quiet too, since... I like analysing stuff like that in my own head. It helps.

4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?
Stuff that's just TOO gross... and my Mary-Sue fetish. Oh, buggar. Thats out now...

5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
Depends- some of the people who lurk on my LJ (Andrew etc) say it's quite interesting. They blame this on the large insanity quota. So... 7.

6. From who/how did you find out about LJ?
Known about it for a while. I was a DeadJournal girl for a while, until I realised no one read my DJ. This was about the same time that [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten and [livejournal.com profile] loneraven starting bugging me about it one rainy, thundery afternoon. Bribed [livejournal.com profile] loneraven into givng me an access code, and the rest is history.

7. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
No, but some people know it exists because of me. Does that count?

8. What proportion of your posts are friends only?
Never. If I bitch, I don't give a rats ass who finds out. As I said, deeply personal stuff is something I keep, well, deeply personal to analyse myself, so... 0%

And if I'm COMPLETELY honest, I was never sure how you worked out how to do Friends Only until about two minutes ago, when I flicked down and worked it out. How computer illiterate am I?

9. What is your favourite interest on LJ?
Fanfiction? Not sure. Depends on what fandom I'm hot for at the time.

10. How many missing questions have their been on this survey that you've had to make up yourself?
Je ne comprende pas, vous parlait anglais s'il vous plait?

11. How often do you respond to/comment on other peoples' journals?
Depends. How interesting is thier entry? How lazy am I feeling? Many conflicting options...

12. Do you prefer to write in your journal, read other journals?
To answer this, I will quote [livejournal.com profile] loneraven:

"I like doing both, I think. They're both parts of the LJ experience(!)"

'Quoth the Raven' Sorry, couldn't help myself.

13. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on LJ (or did it to someone else)?
Not on LJ. But on a list, yes. There's this one bird called Igthewig, and in ONE DAY she slagged off:

Stargate
Stargate Fans
The Stargate episode Abyss which is my favourite. How the hell would she know episode titles if she hated the show?
LOTR slashers
LOTR fans

So, basically, I told her to shove her opinions where the sun didn't shine, because I didn't mind *what* she was saying, it was the *way* she was saying it. Normally, I would have been kicked off TheFarscapeLounge, but the list mom agreed with me and banned Igthewig for a week. Ha.

14. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
Nope.

15. Who are your favourite LJ friend(s) and why?
I love them all like my own dear children.

God, what has Ben and Jerrys done to me??? I dunno- I suppose the people I've met would take preference, but a lot of people just make me laugh and stuff, so... no favourites.

16. How many of your LJ friends have you actually met?
To the best of my knowledge, [livejournal.com profile] hannahbassill [livejournal.com profile] loneraven [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten [livejournal.com profile] osiris13

17. Of all of the people on LJ you know of, who is the most like you?
Erm. I'm on my friends list, so me.

18. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
1. They add me.
2. I know them in RL or through other communities.
3. They use thier journal to update fic, [livejournal.com profile] cassieclaire being the best example.

19. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
Yes. Because I'm lonely. *sobs*

Oh yeah. E numbers hype attack ahoy.

20. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
They're homophobic.

21. Is your "significant other" on LJ?
I have an SO? Ooooh, where's she hiding?

22. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
Like, everyone. And a lot of people I want to meet again. *shrugs* Such is life.
