Livejournal is no longer being a fuckwit. Hurrah!

Went on a big marathon fic writing thing last night. Most of my fic is put straight on to the computer, but Between Worlds has been on paper, for no reason other than ideas tend to hit me late at night for that particular fic.

Anyway, I've been in a bit of a lull with it recently. I can get a few sentances written, before I'm stuck a a dead halt. However, last night, I started writing, and felt much better after scribbling down about seven pages before I looked up at the clock, realised it was 1.00am and I should probably go to bed.

Woke up as alarm went off, and tried to get out of bed, but actually spent an hour lying in bed with the radio on... so, so lazy.

Haven't really done much refvision today, but... hey. What ya gonna do. I'll do it later. Probably. The point is, I MEANT to.

Gah. We have about three tea bags left. I shall have to go and buggar off to Safeways now, otherwise I'll be in withdrawal, and let me tell you, that ain't pretty.

Hmmmm. Seems I spoke too soon. LJ is still mucking me about. My posts are turning up BEFORE other peoples, and it's really, really odd.

C'est la vie.

Tonight... I made tea. Now, I'm nearly 16 years old, I've been taking food tech for two years, I have various cooking badges (bless), so I should be able to cook, yet, I can't. I can just about manage a meal for myself, but cooking for the family is HARD since we have to make two meals, which I can actually blame myself for... everyone else has meat, and I have Quorn/chicken (depends). Tonight, spaghetti bolagnase, and no one appears to be poisoned yet.

I didn't make enough spaghetti. Mine was too dry. Yet... I'm feeling extremly proud of myself because I managed a domestic task AND I cleaned up the kitchen afterwards too.

Maybe I was abducted my the emoticon alien, and it made me into a domestic goddess. Or not, but hey, we can pretend.

So that was my night. Exciting, huh?

Oh yeah- Dad's taking me to see Reloaded on Saturday! Before you go getting the impression that I'm some sort of weirdo who only goes out with parents, it's only because father/daughter bonding over sci-fi has not happened recently (to think, we used to watch Enterprise and Farscape together and nit-pick), because we watched The Matrix together recently and we might as well do the triple, and because I'm saving up money and want him to pay.

I insist on paying for myself normally, but family is a different matter. :~)

It also appears that I missed the AT chat, which had no idea was going on, but I've been avoiding jackfic recently (ducks from <lj user=nepygill) since I've... just... I'm waiting for it to settle down a bit... sooooooo... yeah. But apparently it was crap, so I probably didn't miss much- did I? Namarie! ~Hathy_Col~
