(no subject)

It's the last night of the show tonight, and I'm quite sad. Thursday I was just knackered by the end, but it went REALLY well last night. I did my drama well, I didn't fall over, I had all my costumes on in time, and my Guideytots (as I've started calling them for no reason) where there! At the end of the finale we had a mad waving session. It was fun, in a strange way. I came off stage completely buzzing (as you do) and then it hit me I'd only do this once more with the group we have now. Most of them will have gone to university, or left, by the time we have another show. No more Caitlin (I kick her riot shield!), Laura (brilliant mate) or Heather, and it makes me sad.

On the DOWNSIDE to dance, Anne phoned today. While I was still in bed.

"Colleen?"

"mmph?"

"Are you awake?"

"I'm still in bed... I woke up about 20 seconds ago..."

"Oooh, sorry. Megan shouldn't have woken you!"

"No..." *struggle upwards* "I'm awake now."

"Can you be there at 4.30 for photos?"

God, I woke up 2 hours early for a photocall. Bloody hell...

Anyhoo. Katie and Jess are coming tonight! Speaking of, I have a photo!

FUCKING CORNFLIES!!

Thunderbugs, thunderflies, cornflies, cornbugs, whatever you call them. We live behind a farm, and it's hot. THEY'RE ON MY SKIN! MY SKIN!!!

Makes me actually WANT to go to Kirkby, now. Which I have to in about 30 mins. Because Kirkby is, well, Kirky. No cornfields. I will be free of the bugs. Roasting, in skanky underwear, manky pants, and a holey t-shirt, but no thunderbugs.

Heat make Colleen go crazy...
