(no subject)

We have no water. Well, thats a lie- we have water. It's just a murky brown colour, and I've argued with the water board man ("I don't CARE if it's safe to drink, it's BROWN!") and he claims it'll be sorted soon. I hope so. Even tea tastes wrong, and if it's getting between me and my caffiene, so help me if I don't sort out those pipes myself.

Anyway. I'm using the last cup in the house (We can't wash anything!) and drinking milk, and hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

But on the plus side, I have new hair! Nice hairdresser lady cut and thinned and layered and now my hair feels all... LIGHT. It's actually shorter than I normally get, but it's lovely. I just want to play with it. I love being girly over my hair, it's so refreshing!

Anyway. I'm going to go and read badfic for a while (I have a need for it at the moment. It's so funny!) and then I'll... go and shout at the water board some more. Maybe.

A girly night out doth ensue. Only me and Katie at the moment, but hopefully Amanda and Lorna and Katie will be able to go.

Wheeeeee!

I like girly nights out. We gossip, we bitch, we eat more than can be healthy for us (it was chinese last time. We got the most evil look at the chip shop when we went in and ordered about 7 meals between five of us) we get free ice cream this time so a suger high also ensues and we generally have a really good time.

I'm excited already.

Firstly, hi to martouf_marty!

Have you ever been bored enough that you actually wander around ff.net to find any other people with the same net name as you?

There's 5 of us, four if you don't count Hathor X. One of them I did already know about on the basis that I started getting horrifed emails along the lines of "When the bloody hell did you start writing humourous D/J slash?" After explaining that it wsn't me, the day afterwards I found a LOTR Aragolas fic by someone called HathorC, who said something about "I found out there was another Hathor in this fandom..." which was nice. So we emailed once or twice, and got the confusion sorted out. Two Hathors writing for the same fandoms. *shakes head*

The others I need not worry about- quite apart from the different fandoms (I don't GET anime. Is it just me?) they speak Spanish and French. So I'm still the only Hathor. Well. Apart from HathorC who is still registered as Hathor. (bitch!) But then, I'm HathorC too! Hathy_Col, anyway.

Jesus, I'm bored to the point of actually wanting to go and tidy my bedroom.
