hathycol: (no man!)
Wow, but today has been a weird day.

Was dragged out of bed at 9am. This was painful, since I got a spurt of writing and was up fairly late the night before. Dad and me then proceeded to go on an accidental tour of West Lancashire and Sefton.

Let me explain, since that's a hell of a statement by itself. Basically, I needed to go and find an Animal Rescue Home and to do a really small interview for my English coursework. Well and good. We decided to go to Freshfields. Well and good.

Thing is, we needed to go to Asda's in Southport first. Freshfields was somewhere in a country lane, with a bit gothic arch on the other side. It was a very, very long trip to get there, and admittingly it was quite pretty, country lanes and whatnot. But then we got a bit lost on the way back. To be precise, we were heading for Formby and ended up in Crosby.

Basically, three hours after setting off we made it to Ormskirk. And then I had to go and beg an interview in Cancer Research UK, which made me look like I was even more insane. Eventually made it home, however, and proceeded to actually do my first piece of coursework. Yay me! Only got to read politics notes and somehow scrape an essay out detailing James I. I like history, but I've suddenly developed this hatred for James. Strange, that.

I am now reading the world's most hysterical fanfiction. It involves Wormtongue, the Rohorric Inquisition, Saruman, humourous footnotes and Muhammed Saeed al Sahaf. Really, where's the bad?

Anyhoo. Going out with Si tomorrow on our Unoffical Billy Boyd Fest (thats what I call it, anyway) and then after that I plan to go and get pissed in Leigh at Liz's house. But not too pissed, cos hangovers suck.

That is all. Now I need to go and sleep or something...
