(no subject)

Well, today has been... relatively dull.

Firstly, I had the morning off, but I wasn't able to scab a lift in. So, off I toddled to college like a Good Girl.

And I actually spent my lesson off working. I got through all of four slides on Classic Liberalism, and I'm feeling a strange sense of dread over doing this damn thing. Well, honestly. The whole topic is entirely unwieldy, and whilst I might just be getting my head around it, I still feel very confuzzled. Argle.

Then we had media studies, in which Claudine guilt-tripped us all again, and we had to watch a scene from Mission Impossible Two. Now, I Don't Watch Tom Cruise films, because he doesn't make the kind of film I'm interested in, bar Minority Report, which I haven't seen yet. This means I've only seen him play Lestat. Honestly, you try and take the bloke seriously when all you can see is slash and fangs! At any rate, it also means that I have Limp Bizkit in my head. Argle.

Anyway, lunchtime involved Liz and dispute with the chippie. They gave her peas. Liz, to underestimate it, was not amused. I dragged her out so that no one got hurt by flying ju jitsu kicks and the deadly wielding of the plastic fork.

Gave up the rest of lunchtime for my history. Yes. I have actually finished The Essay Of Doom. Thank god, and I will hurt him if he wants anothr change for question B.

And that was my day.

Fuuuuuuuck.

Just got a phone call from work.

"Where are you?"
"I'm at home..."
"The rota says you're in from six today."
"WHAT?"
"Well, that's what it says..."
"Well, no one told me! I can't come in!"

Bloody hell. I am so not supposed to be in now. Thought it was next week. But not. I am in for Wednesday next week. Which I can't do.

Fuck. Woman on phone was very nice, and said I didn't have to come in. Suspect will get roasting from Sharon on Saturday.

Bloody job.
