I have Things To Do today.

Firstly, I need to beta read loneraven and amchau's Crossover Of Doom And Great Hilarity. (That's not the actual title, yet it seems to fit.) I meant to do it all week, and stuff kept on coming up. I am a fairly quick beta-reader (see the speed I got Paragons done!) but it will take some time. However, I suspect there may have been internal beta-ing, so that makes life slightly easier for me.

I have to do my English coursework. Or at least I think I do. I wasn't in on Friday, and don't know the deadline, but better safe than sorry. I'll get my first one finished, plus the commentary.

Media Studies commentary, but I don't have Media until Tuesday, and I plan on finishing it off in my free lesson tomorrow.

RADA information. I have to pick a sonnet and I have to get some information on the character of Katherina from The Taming Of The Shrew. Erm. Eeeep? Oh well. I WILL get it done.

Firstly, though? I'm going to go and get a cup of tea and avoid Megan. She has a friend around - Becky or soneone similiar - who I know only as The Geeky One. She's the one who obsesses over Buffy and Orlando Bloom, and has the potential to be a true fangirl.

At any rate, she's the only one who doesn't treat me with nothing but the utmost contempt, so that's not too bad. Megan, however, gets worse when she has a mate around, so it's best just to ignore them both and be done with it.

At any rate, I should probably start doing them. Alas. And I should probably change the CD. I can't stop listening to Muse, and it's scary. Especially when I remember that I did the same thing over 'Origin Of Symmetry' and it took me three months to get over it. But 'Absolution' is so good...

My, the computer is evil.

I started to beta. I did. I got all of twenty pages in.

Then the computer went haywire. I have no idea what it was, but the keyboard wasn't being RIGHT. Have a nagging feeling it was rebelling for the years of abuse I've put it through. At any rate, I couldn't type, couldn't even look through My Computer before it starting randomly opening other things.

So, I started the virus scanner and ran for cover. To be precise, I watched Chimera which was... well... buggar is all I can say. Oh, and I've never found Sam so wildly attractive. Which, to me, actually feels vaguely wrong. Janet, yes, Sam, no.

Anyway.

Dad came down and asked me to demonstrate the problem. I tried. It no longer existed.

Good and bad, really.

So, I sit down with all intentions of getting my homework done, cos it's getting late. And I have.

New problem has arisen. The screen is barely readable. At first I thought my glasses were dirty, but it's not just me. Apparently, it's the filters. (?)

So, I accept my fate. I have done nothing that I meant to. Oh, but tomorrow will be fun as I try to do everything.

Sorry, loneraven. I will get the thing beta-ed, though, mainly because I'm having so much fun reading it!

May skip Guidance tomorrow to do the rest of my work. A tempting thought.
