Still rather annoyed about conventions as a whole. I quite fancy going to Collectormania, and I've been looking at sleeping at Travel Inn (since am cheap) and whatnot. I was rather hoping that [livejournal.com profile] shipperkitten would come with me (CORIN!) to Collectormania but she seems to have deflected to Frankfurt. Which I would also quite fancy going to. But prices are tricky. Since I'd have to pay for the lot myself, as well as declaring "Hey, mum! Off to Germany for the weekend, you don't mind do you?"

Obviously, though, I can't go to either SG8 or the 10th Anniversary. Life is Unfair. And I plan to email Wolf and point out that although they're a good company, it's very arrogant to push us around like this. I just... feel ticked off. It's unfair.

And at some point, I have to budget for Bloodstock. Which, admittingly, will consist of a tent and three pot noodles.

Work was quite fun today, actually. I'm not sure why, and I blame it on the fact that I made customer services SUFFER for bringing me in today. But now I'm home, and I just feel grotty. The idea of going to college tomorrow is depressing. My throat hurts like hell, since I seem to have a weird ulcer at the back of it, and I've had this before. It lasted for a long and miserable week. Coincidence that it's the same week as my last coursework deadlines? I think not.

Still have't watched Resurrection, although I rather enjoyed Inauguration last night. Spoilers! )

And now I will go and eat my tea, curl up and feel miserable because conventions are pants, because Simon doesn't appear to be online and I need to speak to him for various reasons and because I need to swear at someone and it's making me miserable because I can't.

On the plus side, only 10p in the swear jar today.
