Apr. 22nd, 2004 09:30 pmWell, I feel vaguely fulfilled. If that doesn't sound too pervy. Well, it does, and who's complaining?
Yes. I will make an actual point now, honestly.
What have I done today? It feels like I did a lot. I woke up in the morning feeling remarkably positive. I went to college continuing with this feeling, and I spent my free period doing all my media work. I also managed to spot Gemma on the stairs, and we had a bit of a natter. We bonded over both being shrews for RADA. And both not actually knowing what a shrew was. *facepalm* She thought it was a bird, I thought it was made up! Anyway, she was talking about the examiner, and apparently he once directed Alan Rickman.
SQUEE!
I was quite proactive in all my lessons today and all. Hell, I even looked interested in English.
I also discovered that Pervy Dave (an unoffical nickname, you understand) is ill, or something. As such, no history. I was midly gutted, but then, who am I to argue with an afternoon off? I came home in the blazing heat, and decided to get Collectormania all finished and sorted out.
(Oooh! Lady Marmalade on the radio! How long has this been out? I remember being in technology lessons for this. Ergo, it was actually before I took cooking, which was quite late on... but I still love it. It makes me want to do crazy dancing things that I can't actually do anymore. And I'll stop now.)
So, I had trouble with the trains. I was screaming at the screen at one point. "I'VE ALREADY PUT MY DETAILS IN FOUR TIMES, ARSEHOLES!" was a common one. And then it didnt accept my Solo card. Thank the stars that Dad then walked in, and I promptly latched myself on. "Daddy! I love you!"
I'm so pathetic at times, I really am.
But the point is that now we're all in it together. And that's the end of it. E-mails have been sent. Life is good.
And now we just have to wade through the appropriate guest list. Christ, this will be pricey.
And one final thing: Brian Blessed, better known as "GORDON'S ALIVE?!" will be on Stars In Their Eyes on Saturday. I urge you all to go and watch. Please. I know it's painful, but dude, it's Brian Blessed...
