Currently typing up my history. Did I finish that second past paper? No. Such is my life.

Last night, I watched The Gift with the lovely Cate Blanchett. Now, I should point out that this does not come anywhere near to my bordering-on-unhealthy thing for Miranda Otto, possibly because I dislike the character of Galadriel, firmly believing that she's a mad old bat who's far too obsessed with power. But Cate Blanchett is such a lovely and amazing actress. And she's so good. I mean, the woman's played Elizabeth I! In this, however, she was still breathtakingly beautiful. It was a good film, actually. Quite creepy in place, although bordered on the mawkish. Relied on lots of lovely American stereotypes (because all in the South are, of course, racists and bigots. I doubt that, since a few of you seem to be from there) which actually gave Gary Cole (wheeee!) a role and also managed to make Keanu Reeves play a fantastically insane guy. It was enjoyable.

Sleepy Hollow is on next week. Yay!

Today, I woke up, felt like death, and generally wandered into college. No impact on the bus journey, although the deputy head came onto the bus and told us that they've threatened to take action against us if it happens again. He then gave a weird smile and said: "Not that it was you lot," and proceeded to go upstairs. Well, it wouldn't be the first time that the top floor kicked off.

Did media interviews all morning. Hopefully, they won't do the thing we had over Mrs King. It was quite a dull morning, actually, and I missed Guidance again. Whoops! Not.

English mock from hell in the afternoon, of course. I spent my lunchtime watching swans across the lake. They were brilliant! One was running away on top of the water with it's wing flapping, whilst the other basically hopped a bit slower. It had the look of scorned male. We also watched a fisherman in abject fascination, with me and Liz heckling along the lines of "If you see a ring when it drags you down, DON'T PICK IT UP!" The fish was HUGE when he managed to pull it out, and I felt quite traumatised to see it in pain. He threw it back in again, thank goodness. It still had the hook in, but the fisherman promised that it soon comes out of it's own accord. At any rate, it's been named Colleen for it's new piercing.

As such, my mock was absolutely dire, but I frankly don't care. Now I will do my history and go to Rangers. And read my Centigrade thing. Surpirse surprise, I'm suited to history. Second choice? Ancient history. Third choice? Communications. It basically told me that I'd be a bit crap at classics! Feel quite traumatised now, and my uni plans are all messed up. Again. I wish I could decide better. And I really wish it wouldn't tell me that I'd be a bad historian because I have bad eyesight.

So, yes.

You know, Iona once commented that my life is like a sitcom, and recently I've been extremely tempted to believe that. No doubt it would be cancelled after one season and get terrible reviews and probably be shown on ITV, but you know what I mean.
