(no subject)

Turned very Irish today when I heard about the Higher results. A week on Thursday is my results day. Hence my shriek of "Sweet Mary Mother of Jesus!"

I have done nothing as yet today. I don't think I will be, either. The general plan is thus: arse around on the computer with possibly some Dracuporn and then iron my clothes before going to Teh Sucky work. On the bright side, it's worth pointing out that the two of us on the tills - Charlotte and myself - both have birthdays tomorrow. Mini-celebration will occur. Tomorrow I am going to Liverpool with purplerainbow and maybe shipperkitten. If Em can't come though, I may end up going to training... all depends at the moment.

Heh. Have bribed Viv into writing Jool/Chiana fic. It must be admitted that SFX has lots of pretty pictures of the new Farscape mini-series and I've fallen in love with it all over again. *grins* With that and the Dracuporn from lilka then I am a happy Hathor - and the price of some Goa'uld fic and Louis/Armand? I think I can do that...

So, tomorrow is my birthday. Yay me? For the first time in my life, I actually have two people sharing a birthday with me: I beta for Captain Oblivious, who gave me Dracula, and I gave her Legolas. It's a fair trade, frankly. We promised to swap come next year. Also girl on tills and I had a mini-celebration and were accused of being twins by many of the staff.

Fun.

I never celebrate my birthday, not really. I did last year, but we were in Switzerland and all the Guides were really good to me with presents and whatnot, I got a huuuuuge cake from the hotel staff and weirdly, the Guide leaders gave me a Darkness CD. That was just weird. But appreciated.

All that said, tomorrow will be fun. I've (hopefully) managed to contact Em and change meeting times until 12.30, and Hannah will text when she's there, so it's all good. I really want to get some training done tomorrow, so I'm sure I'll smell lovely, even if I only do an hour. I also need to go and get Interview With The Vampire out of the library as all I have is the film version which has almost no Louis/Armand past THAT not-quite-kiss. Anyway. I'm a bit more annoyed by my mother's martyr act. "But you need to get up so we can SEE you!" Well... okay, I appreciate that, but honestly, you'll see me in the afternoon, right? I'd rather just sleep... still, El Parento are shelling out for a meal at the Cafe Bar, which is a place I really love but rarely get to go to. I am also getting my tongue bar changed tomorrow, however, so eating may by a challenge. I think I'll be okay, though, considering that I could carefully eat by the next day...
