(no subject)

Holy crap, Batman! It's freezing right now so I'm curled over a cup of tea and trying to do my Personal Statement. This probably won't happen, but it's worth trying. I have Shoebox Aloud on in the background. It's quite good - not a patch on the fics, but the (woman) playing Sirius is lovely, despite sounding somewhat Canadian at times. My CD burner is dead beyond deadness so I can't put it onto CD and listen upstairs. Shame.

God, it's still cold.

Today was a cold morning. I have many cold mornings, but it's October. It is not supposed to be this cold yet. Brrr. Still, as I had one two tops I dumped my coat in my locker, working under the assumption that I wouldn't need a coat, despite having to troop to media and back.

So, there I was in media, nice and toasty. And the bloody fire alarm went off. The last time it went off, I had no shoes on (don't ask. Just don't) and this time I had no coat. Brrr. Stupid bloody fire alarm, although Greg's attitude of "Look, wait here, I'll go and check what's going on" was amusing.

The rest of the day was a big politics lesson. We have decided that Michael Howard resembles the childcatcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

And history was cancelled! This is not normally a happy thing, but it meant I had the afternoon off. Wheee!

And that is all. Still cold. Work this afternoon. Personal Statement still not finished. Gah.

I wish my posts were more interesting. Sorry. Haven't really got an awful lot to talk about.
