hathycol: (whoa! femmeslash!)
After much stomping around and bewailing that everybody hated me and no one had bothered to phone me, etc, etc (rage!Colleen) I got a phone call from [livejournal.com profile] rhaeselon at about 10.00 asking me into Southport. I went. I have had two hours sleep because I ended up going out, drinking neat vodka and then coming back with [livejournal.com profile] zeta_of_s and drinking wine. I NEVER LEARN. It all made rather a lot of sense at the time to drink wine, as it was in the fridge and all cold and stuff.

Needless to say, I pulled a sickie as I woke up at 9.20am. Whoops.

Now my head hurts. Quite a lot. I'm going back to bed.

Much more alive now after a few more hours napping and whatnot. Last night, I was in something of a lather as no one had phoned or texted me in a sort of "We like you! Come out and get pissed with us!"

So I sat by myself in front of the TV with champagne and felt miserable, and as I was finally going to bed in despair, the phone rang. At 10.20pm I nagged my mother into giving me a lift to Southport, which she did. I rolled into the pub to be greeted by most of people I knew from college and a few people I knew outside of college, and I started on the vodka. Oh, gods.

Then we moved onto a bar after coming to a halt outside of KFC and then I ended up drinking vodka shots with [livejournal.com profile] zeta_of_s, who is still the only person I know who actually likes the taste of vodka rather than coughing up a lot. So, we did that and then fell into a taxi, as the Burscough lot seemed to be leaving and I was still optimistically debating going to work. Simon ended up coming back to mine where we continued to drink, including the aforementioned wine and we ended up going to bed (I even remembered how to take down the spare bed thingie. I am SO GOOD) when it got light. Apparently, he had a go at waking me so I'd be up in time for work, but I don't remember that at all. I phoned up work and muttered something about being ill and dead or something and then I actually had to go out to buy my Dad's birthday present, as it is today and I am a bad daughter and forgot. This involved going into Southport, which was fun as you can probably all guess.

However. I have had a nap and can now see properly again and whatnot. It's quite nice, but I know that I'll end up asleep again before long. Going out tomorrow in a completely non-alcoholic sense, though, which is better.

So, um, yes. I have four A grades at A-Level, a place at St Andrews, some bruises which I only half-remember acquiring and a wicked bad hangover. The student life starts here.
