(no subject)

Well, I'm back. Have been a while, actually - managed to get what should have been a 6 and a half hour drive condensed into 4 and a half.

Well.

Speeding. It's not big OR clever, kids.

I came back with lots of what seems to be entirely useless shopping, clean clothes (EGADS) and lots of homework still not done. Now discovered that people are coming around in an hour and oh dear I'm not going to get it done tonight. Will blitz my Spanish and go from there. Or, y'know, give in my A-Level coursework for my modern history essay. I can see it happening.

Also there are Christmas decorations up. Enough said, the better.

STOP THE WORLD I NEED TO GET OFF.

Oh well. Only five weeks of horribly hard work to go!

... and I spent all evening eating biscuits and watching TTT with the neighbours and my housemates. Also revealing nerdy self and also pervy self as every single question asked ("Why won't Arwen die at a normal age? How to Elves age? What's the name of the that sword? Why do you know all this stuff?")

Recycling A-Level essays: suicidal. And oh-so tempting. I don't want to just give in the same essay, but a lot of the central themes are close and I did well on that coursework. Argle. Advice?

But tempting, at this point.

So. Get up tomorrow, do Spanish in library, meander to my lecture, see if it's worth turning up for the next week and proceed to utterly utterly blitz my essay until it is hiding in the corner, crying for mercy.

Argle. It was nice, though, to Talk To People and also to watch LOTR again. I forgot how damned gay Aragorn and Legolas were.
