Ugh. I hurt in every way possible. Firstly, I am not well. I have been trying to put this off for a while, so that I could spend yesterday running around in a frozen field in the middle of Ormskirk with temperatures barely above freezing.
This, maybe, was not a wise move.
Training was fun, however. It was good to see everyone again, even if I'm embarrassingly awful at remembering n00bs names and also commanding. I would list heoric victories, but we only had one. Mostly I hopped around trying to stay warm.
Going back in Easter when I will be more hopelessly out of practice.
I spent the evening driving to and from St Helens, to see Helen. This was Most Fab, as I haven't seen my Helzybob for many a long week, and she sent care packages and whatnot. She looked most fab, told me my accent had changed (?!) and had lots of green drinks. Why green? I know not, but it made sense to Helen.
Simon and I came home and got pizza. Now he is whizzing to an NYO course and due to the fact I have to do STUPID STUPID STUPID things like exams at uni, I will be in St Andrews by the time he gets back. The earliest I can see him is... end of January. At best.
Life doesn't feel so fun any more.
