(no subject)

It is sad that the thing in my life currently bringing me the most unmitigated joy in my life is my essay. "Discuss whether or not King John was bad compared to other Angevin kings". Since the essential answer is 'yes, he was a psychotic bastard but luckily he was crap enough not to use it effectively', it's basically a four page long rant. However, since I need to include different aspects of it, I am also going to throw in an exciting little rant about Richard the Lionheart. Richard the Lionheart was, to be honest, a crap king. Crippling taxes and inflation? His fault. Visited England for six months out of ten years. Generally, really, just a bit rubbish.

So I get an essay of RANT. Four pages of RANT. Really, it might do me good.

I don't have a great deal to write about at the moment, which is why when I do, I moan. I haven't been anywhere interesting, I don't have amusing stories to tell, and generally I just whine a lot. However, lone_hobbit came around last night, and that is something eciting to talk about, if 'I cooked, we ate pie, and then we watched Torchwood and talked and laughed for a while' counts. That was a lovely evening, actually; people don't venture this far out of town, so it was nice to have guests, especially ones who will watch Torchwood with me. Heh!

When I have come to the end of this week, things will be more entertaining. I will have a DocSoc to talk about, and finishing my bloody essay, and possibly something exciting involving copious alcohol consumption.

Or, at least, a fairly long and lengthy rant of Crime and Punishment.

Or a picspam about my Crazy Theroy with Torchwood.
