Or indeed, good evening. I am in Italy, Venice to be precise. I have just bumped into someone that I knew from whenI did ballet - WTF, world - and am living in a tent. Admittingly with beds, but still.

Milan was a bit bleurgh, but Venice is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. St Marks took my breath away. I really don't want to leave it tomorrow, although I'm sure I'll say the same thing about Florence and Rome.

I forgot my address book, so no postcards for anyone. Sorry.

I have learnt enough Italian to translate the menu and can ask quite fluently for both ice cream and red wine. (Gelati and vino rosso.)

I have a million things to do,so I will do them now. Missing you all, wish you were here rather than the insects that are EATING ME ALIVE.
