(no subject)
May. 23rd, 2008 08:06 pmHello, my name is
hathy_col and I have finished my Junior Honours year. All that stands between me and graduation is a 12,000 word dissertation ("The Image of Royalism During the Interregnum, 1649-1660"), a year-long special subject ("The Cult of the Saints" with Professor Bartlett, better known as The One Off The Telly A Month Back) and another third-year semester long-module ("The Evolution of British Democracy" which is the course on political history I've ben itching to do since my A-Levels and is with Professor Bentley, who is sort of what you mentally imagine when you see a historian).
My exams went... badly. I knew my stuff, but the questions were phrased wrong and, well, eh. We'll see, I suppose. On the bright side, I drank a pint of cider last night whilst watching a broekn about families with over ten children, one of whom lived in the council estate my dad grew up in and had their children in the maternity ward I was born in. And today was a day of safari park, which you'll hear all about tomorrow.
And now I'm going to go and watch telly and I might even drink abottle, no, can't do that, Sarah has an exam tomorrow and I tend to get loud if I drink glass of wine. Tomorrow I start on my deep-clean of the house and even better, Eurovision is on tomorrow night! Hurrah!
