(no subject)

Okay, weather? Really fucking cold. The heating isn't going on until November because a. we're skint and b. it was still snowing in April last time so we need to conserve it. I am resolutely not putting on my winter coat, winter quilt, or accepting it's at all cold until November, either. BUT STILL.

In other news, I went into work today to re-negotiate my working hours ("I would have mentioned this earlier but, you know, car accident") and to also negotiate what I'd be doing in work; unsurprisingly, I don't fancy lugging clothes around or masses of overtime. I don't even know how long I can consistently stand up for as it is...

I would normally say 'in other news' but since I have no other news I'm just going to bitch about the weather. I'm already at two socks and three layers at the top; I can't start the tights trick this early!

Right, onwards with dissertation research. Yay.
