Apr. 29th, 2009 04:13 pmI have been ridiculously busy the last few days, and I have accidentally managed to agree to two seperate social events tonight. I'm not 100% sure that I don't just want to watch The Apprentice and sleep. It'll be nice to go out, though... wonder if I can make the two somehow match together? Or have an amusing sitcom type moment where I attempt to attend both simultaneously? Although one of them is AltSoc, who I haven't caught up with in ages, and one is Richie, who, well, ditto.
Bad person. I know.
In my defence I've been a wee bit busy this week with One Thing And Another. Katie seems to be slightly on the mend, which is wonderful, but I have the OddBall at the weekend. I sat out today in a big thick jumper and big thick coat to sell tickets, so obviously the sun decided to start blaring down. My face is very slightly burnt, too; hopefully it'll settle down before Saturday, otherwise this becomes the second ball I've gone too with sunburn. Only I can manage this sort of feat, I think.
Right, time to go and frantically get through all my reading so that it's hopefully resembling finished by Saturday. AN EVENT FOR WHICH YOU SHOULD ALL BUY TICKETS, BY THE WAY. It's looking a bit... sparse, at the moment. I think most people at St Andrews on my flist have actually bought tickets, thinking about it. Hey ho.
