Aug. 1st, 2009 11:52 amLast night I went around to Dee's for tea. "You know, Ann always says that you complain about boredom in your LJ," he pointed out, "but every time I see you, you're always hungover after having had some kind of wild party the night before."
In retrospect, there may be some truth in this.
I went out to a house party on Thursday night, and ended up wandering home at about 4am, after having drunkenly watched Snog, Marry, Avoid for a while. I wasn't too hungover, just aware that I was sort of sleepy and my liver was turning into a pickled walnut. All that said, it was a fun night. Yesterday I was at Dee's, as I mentioned.
And tonight, I am off to a Men In Black themed Dunde night out. I have never been on a night out in Dundee, so I have that mild terror to cope with, and also I don't know anyone else other than Kayley, who's birthday it is. Plus, you know, I have to dress up, so I have that to worry about too. Still, it should be good fun and a new experience, at least! (Plus there's a pre-booked taxi so that will keep costs down marvellously.)
Speaking of wild parties, etc, it is my birthday this month. I am turning... um... twentyish. (I've not decided on what age I want to be this time around. Certainly not the one I'm actually going to be.) However, since I will be leaving St Andrews on more or less the date of my birthday, I am having a birthday/leaving shindig on Friday 7th, and completely arbitraily I am now going to declare that I'll be in the Rule from about 9, with plans to move on later. If you are in St Andrews, it would be lovely to see you! (If not, then, well, there we go.)
That's about it, for now. I should probably make a move about getting ready for work, since I do technically have to be there quite soon. Boo.
