Dec. 29th, 2010 12:20 pmI have really bad earache at the moment. It's not proper earache that I remember as a child, when it felt like hot needles being pushed into my ears, but more the sensation of being on a plane. According to the internet this is a common side effect of a cold (and indeed, all of my other symptoms are improving), but as it's one I've never experienced before it's very off-putting. The whole world seems out of kilter, my balance is off, and it's causing a pressure headache over half of my head.
The only effective tip from the internet is to put something hot by it, so I have had a hot water bottle clutched to the side of my head for longer than I care to disclose. Yeah, I'm smooth.
I think today is going to be another day in my pajamas, eating cereals. Lucky me.
