Jan. 12th, 2016 06:57 pmIt feels like the dregs of January, at the moment. I have lots of things planned, starting in about a week, but for now I'm working on Not Going Stir Crazy. I mean, yes, in a week it starts going quite bananas to the extent that I will be desperate to get around to just staying in the house again but yeesh.
I have mostly been going to work, cleaning the house, eyeing up further Cleaning The House projects (I am mentally clearing out my wardrobe, a necessary precursor to actually clearing it out) and running. Yay for running! It's about the only thing going well at the moment. ( Cut for boring exercise nonsense and mild Night Vale spoilers )
I went out again on Sunday and did another long run in the sunshine, along the canal. Also bliss. This morning was a much harder and shorter run in the increasing cold, although I have invested in a stupid headband to keep my ears warm, which helps.
Anyway. Another quiet evening ahead for me now. My team is getting taken out for a 'Christmas' night out on Thursday, which should be good fun, even if I had to organise it. Which is why we're doing cocktails THEN a meal with lots of wine. Hey, no one gave me an upper budget.
