So last night I was kept up all night by the baby below us, which is FINE and I understand that babies make NOISE and it probably wasn't well and the parents are trying their best and I honestly get that I really do BUT ARGH it does very little for my sleep cycle. The particularly irritating part is the way is seems to have an uncanny knack to start crying just before my alarm goes off. Rubbish.

So I woke up, and the shoer was playing silly buggars, and then the razor popped off whilst I was trying to shave my legs so by eight am I was already what we can cheerfully describe as 'hacked off'. One car journey later (always guaranteed to wind me up) I had to spend eight hours in work, which was, well, work.

Harrumph.

Then I came home and the landlady is doing work on some of the other flats so all of the parking was gone, so am parked on the road. AAARRRGGGHHH.

... and then I came home to discover a casserole in the oven, and remembered that we still had some crumble left over from last night when a friend of Richie's came around for tea. So everything doesn't seem so bad now.

(Although I totally need to find where on earth my earplugs went in the move because, yeah. Sleep would help.)

Life has been fairly quiet recently. The planned housewarming completely failed to happen, so this weekend was pretty quiet. Richie and I went on an exploration and went to the fair at the end of the promenade, which is, er, cheap and yet somehow very expensive. Sunday was a fairly quiet day, and... yeah. Quiet life. Perhaps getting a little too quiet now, but that will be changing again before too long, I reckon. (Famous last words, that.)
