Having just been to Asda that was full of PEOPLE who were TALKING and BLOCKING THE AISLES in great big post-work gangs, combined with just a pants week at work, I was just ready to sit down and enjoy Torchwood tonight and try not to stress too much about money because omg so poor.

And then I come onto the interwebz and I find out that Mohawk Greame (stupidore's partner) is back DJ-ing again,and this is exciting because it meant that Richie and I could have our preferred DJ for the wedding. And then I see a facebook message from him offering to DJ our wedding for free.

Burst into overjoyed tears. People are wonderful, kind and amazing people, and I have the best friends in the world.

And Torchwood is on tonight and all. Wahey. Now I need a cup of tea.

Just in case you hadn't come across it, Offbeat Bride is a marvellous place filled with the non-traditional and the money-saving. It has super-dooper pictures of all kinds of weddings. *daydreams* I mean, I have no excuse for it, but you are actually planning a wedding.

My excuse is that I plan to plan a wedding at some point, so it's all useful.

Also spotted this one - things that bridal websites don't tell you about cost effectiveness: make your own fabric bouquet using a whisk, some wool and any kinds of flowery stuff you come across. A whisk. :D
