Today was a fairly uneventful day. Didn't do much, as per usual. For some reason, the key skills teacher seems to be a fan of me, because she asked a question about the difference between a browser and a search engine. I answered it without thinking. I was doodling at the time. I then asked her about the stuff on the exam next week, along the lines of "Will the Data Protection act, and COPPA, and whatnot be on there?" She seemed geuinely impressed that I knew what COPPA was. Eeeek. The shame of it all. I also seem to have signed up for Key Skills Level Three in Communication. I'm an idiot, I really am. On the plus side, it's 20 extra UCAS points. And no exam, since I do English. But there's not really a lot going for it, apart from that.
Anyway, I was on the bus, sitting there and discussing the usual random crap. James Livingstone toddles down the stares and proceeds to stare at my breasts for a few minutes. I stare back.
"What are you looking at, exactly? Apart from the obvious?"
"What does it say on your t-shirt?"
*stare* "University of Life. Stop staring at my tits."
"Righty."
He stops looking, and goes back upstairs. Two minutes later, he's back downstairs, sits right next to me and puts his arm around me.
"What the fuck are you doing, exactly?"
"Look, I think we should gets things straight. Out in the air, so to speak."
"Don't. Touch. Me."
"Are you and that girl you're normally with at lunchtime seeing each other?"
I had so many possible responses. These included: "Fuck, no!" "What are you on?" "We would, but she's not my type. Being a friend and all."
My response consisted of me laughing, before choking out "Not that I'm aware of."
He lets go. "Oh. Does she have a boyfriend?"
"No..."
"Right."
He then bounds up the stairs again, and I don't see him again. This is now the second time this has happened. I'm amused, really. I also suspect that he was either a. nosy or b. interested in Liz. Either way, I do apologise to you, dear. I'm cramping your style, or vica versa. *grins* It's all good.
With this in mind, the "No man!" icons appears much more appropriate now.
I've just learned that there was a Tolkien question on the Critical Thinking Paper. With this is mind, I feel yet more bitter about Key Skills and General Studies. Life is cruel.
And now I must go to Guides. *kicks Guides* Silly things.
