My piercing, for those that posting saying "Ooooh! I want to see it!" looks a little like this:

That's the side view. The dot is the stud. *grins* Look, it's the best I can do!
Woke up this morning feeling remarkably cheerful, despite the four hours at work I had to look forward to. I cleaned off my nose, discovered it was all shiny, wandered around the house is a strange Ozzy Osbourne manner (shufflings, grunting, etc) and then went to work. It was a strangely entertaining day. I know I'm ranting about this piercing, but it's fun and still new to me. People at the till were surruptitiously staring me, as were a few cashiers, but it wasn;t until Chris got in that he looked at me, and said "Wow! There's something on your nose!"
Grinned and told him the story, between customers. I then discovered that he too is a geek. This is because we had a conversation about how all of the X-Men would have sex. Rather, he told me his long and complex theories and I just laughed. It was actually rather fun, especially the Jobilee theory.
I like it when I sit next to Chris on the tills. He's wonderfully insane and makes me laugh, which I need on a boring day, which today was apart from a horrible moment when once more my till broke down. Gah!
And now I am home. Megan is out. Again. I do not complain, since it gave me the chance to do my homework without her peering at my nose like she did this morning. Honestly.
It's not starting to itch, which I believe is a good thing, since it means it's started to heal. On the downsides, I can't scratch it. Bah indeed. It also means that it hurts more whenever I go near my nose. It's this part that I love the most, ironically. Which is scary. I just like getting bits of my pierced, having them heal and then knowing
I know have the new Powder song in my head. Kerrang is extremely watchable at the moment, and I have decided that I am in love with the new Powder and Auf Der Maur songs. They're from completely different genres but both make me want to jump up and down. Kerrang is also playing much in the way of Muse, the one Korn track I actually like, and Pure Morning by Placebo. A distressingly pretty video.
Tomorrow I have to carry a flag and hang around doing boring Church type stuff for Thinking Day. *yawns* This means I have to get up early to polish the damn thing and iron my pants.
On the plus side, I only have to revise for the exam question for history tomorrow. The rest of the homework is done.
