Mar. 18th, 2004 09:08 amAs Bilbo Baggins would put it "I feel... thin. Like butter scraped over too much bread." Now, whilst I certainly don't feel thin, the rest applies perfectly.
Yesterday, I spent an awful lot of time doing mock exam stuff. Timed essay for English (ugh) and then I spent a full afternoon revising politics. Hurrah for Voting Behaviour! I then went home on the bus, and in a brief moment of excitement, we were stopped by the Halton Castle pub by armed police who had blocked the road. As such, we went home a different way.
Trust me, it was interesting at the time.
And then I went home, and trawled through various notes on FPTP, and then I realised that STV, or as I like to call it, The Bane Of My Existance, has no notes. Bleurgh. So I gave up, ate food and went out.
Yes, I went out. But to where? St Annes Parish Social Centre. It wasn't through choice, oh no. You see, I can be rather too nice at times and got bribed into going to the district meeting and representing our Guide unit. Bah. Horrible, boring thing, and I have a scary amount of forms to fill for Crimimal Registration Bureau. Lucky me!
And now I still can't find any notes of STV OR AMS and I have to revise it today. I should go to RADA today or tomorrow, but... I won't. Bad start, I realise, but I'll go extra next week. And Jayne will kill me. But there's nothing I can do about that. Knew I should have scived today. I need to LEARN at least some of it. Just the sonnet. Hmmm. I could do that tonight, surely?
Everything is oh-so-slightly getting on top of me. Must resolve to work harder. Must go and revise now. Must find bloody notes...
Except it seems I'll be spending lunchtime revising. Yay.
