1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:

"... if to say 'It wasn't I!'"

I leaned over to the bookshelf and found the nearest one to my hand. It's 'Alfred Hitchcock's Ghostly Gallery' and I swear to god that I've never seen it before. It's ancient, and it's really small. It's from the bookshop I have yet to investigate - I'm still using the one upstairs, in which I found 'Smith Of Woolen Major' among other things.

2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

The wall.

3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?

Night Of The Living Dead. I got bored with it and have up at about 1.25 though. Now I'm vaguely curious to know what happened...

4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:

1.00pm

5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:

1.00pm To be honest, the Colin And Edith Show just stared up, and I knew that began at one. Oh! Music! LOTR! God, I know what I'm watching tonight...

Oh! It's the full one! "You shall not pass!" "Hang about Moyles, we have to..." "Go my children, to the valley of Whiley!" "They walked aimlessly through the lush valley of Whiley..."

6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:

The Fellowship theme over Colin and Edith. It's genuinely giving me the tingles. I love that music with a deep and burning passion.

7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?

Going out with family to eat. Yay.

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?

E-mail.

9: What are you wearing?

Skanky black jeans because they were on the floor as I fell out of bed and my Swiss Army Cow t-shirt. Oh yes... I am indeed on holiday.

10: Did you dream last night?

Yes. Forget the subject, though.

11: When did you last laugh?

Just now, talking to Meleka about Sind running off with the family Twinkies.

This will make sense to about three people. Sorry.

12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:

Weird terracotta thing over a hideous textured wallpaper. There's a painting of a dog that we got in Cornwall after Mum made a point of going past the window every damn time we went into Newquay, a big set of French windows leading into our scruffy back garden (oooh! I never noticed the rhubarb was sprouting!) and a small set of shelves. It's one of the biggest rooms in the house. It's also the coldest.

13: Seen anything weird lately?:

No one believes me when I tell them about my UFO sighting. And nothing out-weirded that.

I'm really not joking.

14: What do you think of this quiz?:

I like it. It's different.

15: What is the last film you saw?:

Night Of The Living Dead of TV, Dawn Of The Dead in cinema. That's a theme, especially considering the next film I'm watching is Shaun Of The Dead.

I don't even like horror films as a rule.

16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:

The Labour Party's soul back University fees.

17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:

What, the UFO didn't count?

I'm not sure, actually. I'm a pretty open person.

18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:

See, there's so many things. I'd like to perhaps have just bumped off Charles I and left it there, left this country as a Republic.

19: Do you like to dance?:

Like a crazy person.

20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?:

The former. George Bush is no better than all the people he goes around condemning.

21a: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:

'Adoption Victim One'

21b: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:

'Adoption Victim Two'

22: Would you ever consider living abroad?:

Yes. Yes. Yes.

It is a Monday and it is Easter. I'm the only one at home, barring the dog. It's a bit like last summer all over again, really, just colder.

My life is being boring, however. Yesterday was not worth updating about. As such, I spent last night loafing about the house before toddling upstairs to go and a major film marathon.

It began with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Well, I get the references in media now. It was absolutely faboo, for lack of a better term. I lost the track of it at least three times, but it was just.. lovely. Wonderful to watch and thoroughly enjoyable.

I was going to watch Shadow Of The Vampire but I missed the first twenty minutes and as such gave up. Spent the time reading FOTR, which is always a fun pasttime.

And then, Night Of The Living Dead. Well. It was dull. There was evidently a certain level to it that I wasn't getting. It was a passable film, and not bad but not good. Apparently, Ye Olde Dawn Of The Dead is better. I'll take their word.

As I'm on holiday, here is the inevitable To Do List.

Things I Should Do.
1. Revise for those pesky, life changing, exams.
2. Write Tuilenn's Tale.
3. Feel guilty about not doing religious stuff.
4. Be gracious about work.
5. Housework.
6. Update website.
7. Finish media homework.

Things I Want To Do.
1. Watch FOTR and TTT.
2. Watch Shaun Of The Dead.
3. Go and buy the jeans that I so desperately need.
4. Re-read Dr Jackson's Diary

Things I Will End Up Doing.
1. Whining about work.
2. Writing perhaps half of Tuilenn's Tale
3. Spam livejournal.
4. Talk about watching films but never get around to them.
5. Read Draco Veritas. Promptly whinge.
6. Sleep for so long that I skip daytime altogether.

Gah. I will try and be pro-active this holiday, but it's not going to happen. I am such a slob.
