After last night's bitchmoaning and stressing (oh, the shame) I've come to the conclusion that everytime I write something like that I shouldn't post it. Because I soundd whiny. However, it is there now and a part of history, and as such it will not be removed. Such is life as a history nerd.

(Besides, when I am rich, famous, and possibly Prime Minister, I will need this for my memoirs when they boot me out of office and I have to make money by selling crappy books. IDS, I'm looking at you here.)

So, yes. After that whinging and whatnot, I logged off and went to go and channelsurf. I found last week's Angel, which I was going to review but I forgot.

Oh dear lord. Well, it's not brilliant, nor does it pull off the briliance of Once More With Feeling. Angel did not need another comedy episode this season either.

On the flip side, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it made me laugh like a loon. I want my own version of Puppet!Angel, I really do, although I'd prefer Vampire!Puppet!Angel. Mum agrees with this, weirdly.

Scariest villains all season, by the way.

I also grew to have a certain respect for Spike. I don't like Spike anymore. He's irritating and takes the light away from characters who deserve it. But I genuinely liked him in this episode. "You're a wee little puppet man!" I also felt very gratified that Angel could still kick his ass. Yay!

Fred and Wesley. Like the characters individually, fancy the arse off Fred (despite being concerned by her current shortening of skirts) but I'm distressed by them being together. I adored Gunn/Fred and Lonely!Wesley despite rather liking him with Lilah. Either way... blah.

But Vampire!Puppet!Angel! Wooh! Yay! Some of the shots were pure genius.

I had a very bizarre dream last night, thoroughly fandom related. The whole dream started off in my old school, in which I could fly. Don't ask why, because I don't know. Suddenly it morphed to being down in a country lane, and I was helping someone do... something. Not sure. This wasn't the important bit. After helping them out, I won some sort of award and was sent to a big country house. There was a party, and there was cake. Stargate cake. I went off to bed, happy and whatnot, and the next day I tried to leave and I couldn't. It was forbidden, as I'd actually been shipped off to a school where I was being forced to stay. As such, me and my friend (not a clue who it was) ran away and out we went.

Then my position switched to one of watching other people. Namely, Pooley and Omally. One had a shotgun and the other had the backpack, and they were running through woods, when they jumped on top of a tree.

"The Mirkwood!" they cried. See, in my head, there was one, single tree which all of Mirkwood was named after. Don't ask me why.

Then they fell down The Mirkwood Tree, and shot various orcs with the gun.

They escaped into Ormskirk, which was... different. The Daily Mail had taken over, and it was nigh on impossible to get any other paper. Being Pooley and Omally, they bought a copy of the Daily Mail to see themselves in the pages as the winners of this prize thingie. They then escaped to the pub The Greyhound (which is down the end of my old road) where they drank brandy with grapes in.

Then I woke up. Weird, no?

In a flash of blinding inspiration, I found my Tuilenn. Ellen Muth! Dead Like Me! George Lass! Toilet Seat Girl! This will make no sense to anyone except me, will it? She's not exactly Elf-like, I'll admit, but her colouring and general attitude are definitely how I imagine Tuilenn.

See?

And now I will leave you. Nothing is happening today so I should go and ramble on about Shakespeare.

Spike is the best character Evar. And he can kick angel's ass any day.

I disliked Gunn/Fred. Wesley is made for her. It was annoying that she went for the tall good looking chap when she could have just gone for the sweet, smart guy. (And women complain when we go off with good-looking airheads!)

"Courage and pluck, courage and pluck...."

Spike was really cool in season 2 and seires 3. I seson 4 he was passable, and then it just got silly.

I liked Evil!Spike, not this bloke.

I have no idea why I liked Gunn/Fred. I like Me/Fred better, but since that's not going to happen, I just really, really like Gunn and I think he's been severely undermined recently.

I'll stop now.

Wes and Fred act their arses off. 'Hole in the world' is one of the best ever.
