Apr. 29th, 2004 09:18 amUgh. I hate waking up on a Thursday and thinking it's a Friday.
Last night, I felt quite bleurgh. And that's never a fun feeling. In the end, I actually gave up trying to work and went to go and watch Star Wars. I was quite surprised when it turned out I'd never actually seen that version before.
Long story short: when I was 15, I basically nabbed Gilly (oh, the shame) and made him lend me the first two. He turned into the Stalker Of Doom after that, so I ended up renting out Return Of The Jedi myself. The first two were the old version and only Return Of The Jedi was the sparkly new version. A while ago, I taped all three films from the telly but for one reason or another I never watched them. Let me tell you, I was ever so surprised when suddenly, in the middle of Mos Eisley, there was a whole new scene I'd never seen before.
I felt much better after watching that film. They're thoroughly enjoyable, and make me feel happy afterwards. *grins* "I find your lack of faith disturbing."
I am extremely amused by the fact that ff.net is now banning people over "Disregard for spelling/grammar." YES! There IS a god!
*dances like a crazy person*
Lots of stuff to get ready tonight, including oodles of film, pot noodles and other snaky objects. All things considered, it's a good thing that it's not Friday. Hideous control freak that I am over this kind of stuff, the panic I'd be experiencing right now is too scary to contemplate.
(Why do I have no Star Wars icon?)
