Thanks for all the feedback - story is now posted up on OSA.

Feeling a lot more positive this morning, possibly due to the playfullemming's positive post, possibly due to the Kangaroo Song (don't ask) or possibly due to something else that I'm not sure about. That, or finding pretty new Dracula pictures and my hormones going crazy again.

Am actuall wearing make-up today and feeling self-conscious for it. Had photos taken for prospectus, and I suspect mine won't be used. Such is life!



Well, I rather enjoyed that. I know nerd_king will have hated it, but I rather liked Connor, especially considering that I was on tenterhooks all through the end. Illyria, despite taking away my darling Fred, has suddenly won my approval with the following line:

"I will keep Spike as my pet."

On the other hand, though, I'm dying to find out what happens next week. Oh, poor Gunn!

There would be more now, but I think I have to go to history. Have surprise text type thing. Will fail. Not sure if I care anymore - I mean, he didn't even mark my questions last time... considering I'm the only one in the group putting in the extra effort, I can't help but feel a little bit pissy.

I used to love Angel, but I haven't followed it properly since Buffy ended. And now I completely refuse to watch it because all the good old characters have gone (Fred), and the ones that are left are different (Wesley, Gunn).

I'm now using the word "broodypants" at every possible opputunity. Also "son of broodypants" and "one who crushes on broodypants".

I'm sorry Fred's gone, but I am enjoying Illyria, also known as Dead!Blue!Fred. And it was nice to have a final ending to Sahjon. And I'm enjoying seeing Adam Baldwin, who I liked as Jayne but I like even more in a suit.

And thank goodness for definite endings. We won't get on for anyone else, but it's nice to see how Sahjon went... he always amused me, too.

Yes! Maybe it's wierd of me, but I really rather like seeing people beat Spike up. I mean, I love Spike, he was my first woobie, but there's something up people beating him up that... appeals, whether it's Buffy or Angel or Illyria.

Liked Spike, grew to despise him through later seasons, REALLY pissed at him from nabbing limelight. Like him as a character, but it's the LEgolas Thing - too many bloody fangirls! SO watching him get his arse whupped gives me a glowy feeling.

Yes; Buffy fandom is a crazy sort of place (though Harry Potter makes it look sane, so I shouldn't grumble too much). I don't think I've ever quite despised Spike (if you were a fan of evil Spike, I can see why you might; but I can to him when he was already semi-reformed, and the poetry thing was already canon, so I don't have bitterness over that. My appreciation of evil Spike is a later addition to my view of the character.)

The whole "poor innocent Spike" thing drives me crazy. I'll confess to being a Spike/BBOC-type fan, though.
