kts2k just sent me this photo from the Leaver's Do for high school, back in the day when I was 15. Not that long ago, all things considering... but just look at the state of me!
Leavers Do
Good fecking grief. For those that haven't seen my mug before, it's Me, Katie, Lorna and Jess. I am very, very sunburnt at this point, as three days before I had spent a day with the Resident Lunatics (they know who they are) and I didn't quite appreciate the heat at the time. I am pale and auburn haired. Whoops. Katie looks all tall and Amazon-like, Lorna looks really gorgeous in that top and Jess just looks like some kind of Christmas fairy. Typically, it's the photo on which I look burnt, hunched and generally the moody goth one in the corner. I blame this on the fact that yes, it was a dark dress and Katie has slapped her hand all over the pain that is my sunburn.
Ah, memories. And now she's sending over some more, so I will send them over. All from Back In The Day, I'd like to point out...
School uniformy goodness.
My hair looks so short! Again with the Katie and Jess and whatnot... oh, this is fun... that was in the corner of the old hall, and Anna and Amanda are gatecrashing the photo.
Live long and prosper
Last day of school there, as evidenced by mad uniform signing and whatnot. Vulcan thing is on a lot of people's photos (well, it's ME!) and I signed loads of books with that kind of stuff. Ah, to be a geek... my hair isn't actually that short, but it's tied back differently on these days. I miss my short hair... getting it all sliced off soon, though! Seem to know all of the people in the background, which is scary. Look at the hall and the massively menacing crucifix! Shame you can't see the stage - that was Our Domain, or at least a lunchtime.
I think I've changed. I'm still pale, short, have firzzy hair and wear a similiar neckalce, but my face has aged. It's longer and... older. My hair looks weirdly pretty though. These are the times when I like my hair colour.
OOOH! Day Of The Dead is on soon! Finally! FINALLY I SAY! I can know what happens! *dances in shambly way*
Want to write more but am in a rush. Marvel at the photos, and me priveledged - friends only at the request ofkts2k. My, I've changed since then...
