Where the fuck is my Interview With The Vampire DVD? Seems to have dispatched, yet money not gone out of account. Not exactly complaining about this, but if it's not here by Monday I will be forced to get pissy with them.
To make myself feel better, I went up into Ormskirk with El Father and I bought myself the ROTK DVD. My resolution lasted a grand total of three days. I will watch it tonight, and cry like a girl. Did so last night whilst re-reading His Dark Materials. Oh, they're so, so sad. Especially towards the end, although I do cry when Lee Scoresby dies. I basically started snuffling towards The World Of The Dead and by the time we got the end, I needed a box of tissues and a hug. Such wonderful books...
El Mother has just come through the door. Wonderful and amazing woman that she is, she began telling me a story.
"I went to ASDA and saw the Lord Of The Rings film... and you've been working too hard to go out and get it, so if you'll pay me the £14.99 back then you can have it now..."
I have gone from none to having two copies of ROTK. *sighs* This is so typical. Trip to Woolies tomorrow for a refund, I think.
However, I feel rather nice towards my family as a whole. Not my sister; she's got a friend around tonight, and I must refuse the urge to declare that "I am Snape, the Potions Master..." and continue with the online persona I have built up about myself whenever the Little People (not Hobbits; the 13 year olds) try and talk to me. I rather suspect that this won't work, however.
Lastly, the Tories aren't too bad, now I come to think about it. This is purely because they are snaky and unpredictable, and as such have no lengthy ideology I have to learn. (Or indeed How Tony Blair Took The Ideology And Hit It With A Big Rock Until It Stopped Moving.)
And... yes. I have nothing else left to say now. Off for the three hour shift at work; the joy. Going by last night, it promises to be dull.
And massive congratulations to
osiris13 for getting the job at Asda! *does the happy dance for Clare*
Yes. Back to Party Ideology. (Hague, you bastard. Four phases?)
