Jun. 26th, 2004 08:35 pmOh my god, I feel awful.
Been in crappy, dragon-esque mood since last night. I'm not sure why, but it involved snarling at many people. This included most of my household, and mostly my sister.
As such, this was not particularly unusual.
I tried to console myself and watch Dracula 2001 for curiousity. This left me with more of a feeling of "Eh?" I then went to bed. As you do.
I woke up this morning and felt like I was going to die. Again, not unusual, as it's a Saturday and I resent having to get up and go to work. Downed to paracetaml, avoided breakfast, continued to feel like crap.
This continued throughout work. I did, however, have one high point.
I have been offered work experience. At Grange Hill.
Allow me to explain. I was happily sitting there, panicking at credit cards, a lack of change and the fact that I felt decidedly nauseous. I had a waiting customer. I was waiting for the little thing to stop saying "Please wait" and desperately seeking entertainment, I noticed she had a Grange Hill card in her wallet. Grinned.
"Should I know you from the telly?"
"No. I'm the production manager."
"Oh, right! I really love doing that sort of stuff in college."
"Oh, yes? What do you do?"
I then explained what I did and asked her to sign for her items.
"Ah, well, we're looking for work experience people! Here, have my card, send me a letter and why not see about setting something up?"
(For those that do not know, Grange Hill is a long running kiddies TV school drama type thing. Used to be set in London, but production recently moved to Liverpool.)
So, that was pleasent enough.
And now I am back home, and still feeling really rather pants. I am going to go and make a cup of tea and watch Flash Gorden before going to sleep.
Simon phoned up about training. Need to sleep, as really rather do need to go.
Got a rather odd feedback thingie on ff.net.
THIS WAS AWESOME! You write such loving hilarious stuff! I admire you SO SO SO SO much!
Oooookay? Loving? It was a humourfic about The Arduous Task Of Mary-Sue. Loving how, exactly?
