hathycolRichie is on his stag do. I am home alone. I have cleaned the entire house, except for the alarming damp patch that has sprung up in the spare room, since apparently drying laundry in a room without the heating on or a window leads to damp WHO KNEW. Normally I wouldn't clean on a Friday night, but frankly the carpet made an alarming crunching noise in the kitchen so I felt the way forward was to clean all of the things. However, now they are CLEAN so I can have a weekend to myself to chill out. Except for tomorrow morning when I clean the wall we just discussed. Eh.
I'm not entirely sure how you're meant to feel when your fiance is on his stag do, but to be honest I'm sort of chilled out. I will probably very much be missing Richie by Sunday, but at the moment I have a glass of wine in front of me and tomorrow I am super-duper busy. El Parento are back from a week in Spain so I'm popping to see them, then K, then picking up Jo in the evening and she's staying over in order to sto me going bonkers, I assume. That and if I'm allowed to play X-Factor drinking games by myself I will die of alcohol poisoning.
As I said, we'll see how I'm feeling on Sunday. I think I'm just overwhelmed with the giddy and joyous feeling you get when it's the weekend. Work has been unbelieveably awful all bloody week, so it's just nice to know I have two days without people getting hysterical at me about rock salt.
I am now faced with a mild sense of indecision. Blog post on The Disorientated Graduate, or catch up on True Blood?
