Slight problem: appear to have turned into a Mary-Sue.
Example: have started to use a sword and shield. Like a Warrior!Sue. Hell, if my prowess starts getting good then I’ll have to panic.
Worse example: “OMG Over summer Hermione/Ginny have changed so much!”
As earlier posts dictate, I have turned a little bit girly by the whole eyebrow/nail varnish thing. I appear to have lost a little weight, so it’s comforting to know that my diet thingy is working, and hopefully I might even get a little muscle definition along the way too.
All well and good.
Yesterday, I brought some hairdye for the hell of it. ‘Hot mahogany’ sounded like a bit of a laugh, and past experience has taught me that it rarely works, so it’s only semi-permanent. Put it on last night in between listening to show on pagans (Mum was shocked; intellectual programming? In the summer holidays?) and left it dry. It smelled rather nice, although the bright orange paste that it seemed to consist of worried me somewhat. Washed it out, leaving the bathroom looking as though someone has died in it…
… and OH MY GOD is my hair pretty. I need to do a better coverage (there’s a nasty streak of my blonde/brown stuff underneath) but the colour is really right and vivid – quite fiery. I like looking in the mirror to see what I look like, actually. I’m going to see if I can find this shade in permanent hair dye. Since I’m growing my hair, I can do nothing with it so I might as well make it bright and colourful. Hell, I think it’s just about a shade I can get away with in work.
Unfortunately, this also means that I will return to college looking quite different and hopefully TEH HAWT!!!1 One can only hope that delicious canon character falls into my lap…
I’m now going to go and show off my work and go to Liverpool with Andrew to see Spiderman 2. Yay!
