Okay. Quicky post as I use my LJ to keep track of what happens in my life. Gyah. It all got deleted due to the suckyness of my Internet Explorer, so it's quicker than before. Neargh.

Friday was a good day. Wandered out to Leigh for Liz's 18th with Sidg and a whole heap of her friends. It was ever so much fun, and I got very very drunk and spent no money whatsoever! Trying Aftershock, however, was a mistake. Bad Colleen. The next day, however, when I was on the bus, I thought I'd die. It was disgustingly early, bus drivers are beginning to suspect I may be lying when I ask for a half.

"Have you left school yet, love?" one driver asked me. I blinked blearily at him.
"Erm... no?"

Work was painful, especially since Mum forcefed me toast before I left. Oh, god. And I was out again that night, this time for Katie's eighteenth. No alcohol. The very idea made me want to die. Besides, there were lots of very cute children there and we probably shouldn't corrupt them. So instead we Macaren-ed to every song that came on, and it turned out that one of Katie's friends by the name of Patsy was an Angel dance. Unfortunately, we had trouble persuading people to do The Dance Of Joy. Alas.

And home I went again.

Sunday I slept for a very long time. I woke up, and about three seconds later Clare phoned me. I woke up during this conversation, and realised that I'd agreed to go out to Liverpool. And I did so, all day, just wandering around until it was very late and I got in at eleven again. Never mind.

It's been a fabulous, albeit weird, three days. And now I'm working like a demon on my essay. Honestly. I've done half of the introduction and everything. And tonight I have to make tea, or bits of it, and I also have to book for Collectormania. All between aforementioned essay. Which would be going better if I could remember how to spell 'societies'. It's embarrassing how much I have to think about how to spell that. Oh yeah. I have to go to Rangers tonight, and bring three of my favourite songs. My initial response was between these lot:

Muse - Hurricanes And Butterflies
Something Corporate - Konstantine
BtVS - I'll Never Tell
Marilyn Manson - Doll-Digga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag
Something Corporate - I Want To Save You
Coldplay - The Scientist
Anthony Stwewart Head - Sweet Transvestite
The Offspring - Americana
Vanguard vs. Queen - Flash!
Placebo - Every Me Every You
Keane - Bedshaped

Then I remembered that my Rangers are, for the most part, relatively normal and their music tastes consist of the Top 40. They already think I'm a freak (but then, I live in a bubble of being everyone's pet weirdo, odd but generally loveable) but I don't want to expose them further. Besides, you try explaining in the significance of those songs. In order, it is this:

"... because I have never danced so much and so crazily and by the way I'm in the crowd in the video."
"... because this songs makes me cry."
"... when I was still dancing, me an another girl would sit and have this in one headphone and quietly laugh and point at the crap the others were playing."
"... because I sing this across the park of a morning."
"... because it's the unofficial anthem to The Fic That Will Never See The Light Of Day, Being 400 Handwritten Pages."
"... because me and a group of friends got really really drunk and tried to find this song, because Giles is damned cool and because I have good memories of that night."
"... just because I like it."
"... because it's Flash Gordon. You want more of a reason?"
"... dude. Park. Singing."
"... cry like a girl."

Oh my.
