Closets and snow.
Dec. 20th, 2004 12:52 pmOMGSNOW.
Never have I wanted to dance crazily so much. It had just gone break and the snowflakes were HUGE! Jess and I ended up standing outside, shivering but happy. I went to history unhappily, especially since it started to rain and wahsed away the snow. That's how the weather's continued so far...
So, I was in history feeling a wee bit miserable. I ended the year somewhat spectacularly. Dave was talking about the witch-craze and rambling on about hjow old women always seem to want a husband. Me being me, I was getting more narked off, and he tends to go around the class trying to illustrate his point. "Rachael! Do YOU have a boyfriend?"
I don't normally get asked anything like that, as he seems to realise my answer will be the negative. However, today he asked me. "No," I snarled. He made a consoling face, so I grinned at him. "I actually have a girlfriend, so you can BET I don't need a bloke."
He blinked at me as the class went quiet, and then he moved on. I felt proud and slightly glowy.
And now I am at home, unusually. Politics was cancelled so I got a lift home with Jess. I am now going to eat a sandwich and mull on the fact I appear to have reached my Christmas holidays; I don't need to go to media tomorrow. My lessons have been cancelled until 2005. This sounds weirder to me than it does to you, dear reader. Trust me on this one.
Mmm. Sandwich.

[EDIT: Am I the only person in my family to utilise the joys of labels?! Entire family being out, I took my opportunity to have a good rummage under the tree, because shaking a present around to try and work out what it is is HALF THE FUN. However, this is impossible when I am the only one to LABEL MY PRESENTS. It's more or less immoral to rummage around other people's present so I crawled out from behind the tree, smiling of pine needles and feeling Irritated. Gah.]
