To add icing to the tip of the Cake Of Misery, I am ill. I woke up this morning feeling blerghy and all in all it's irritating. Sore throats all round with a side portion of headache, but thank god I had a brilliant night's sleep. I just crashed out at 11.00 and woke up at 10.00, just in time for a super day of work at Homebase.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate my job? I couldn't even get up the energy to hate customers, which says a lot. It is, apparently, illegal to rattle my Tsunami Relief boxs at people. Well, fuck. Hence accidentally knocking it and talking despondantly about how 'no ones donating...' which I think worked in a roundabout way. Bah.

So now I am at home. I am back in full on love of Battlestar Galactica because oh my god something happy happened! And there's a BATTLE! And it was COOL! And there's MYTHOLOGY! And she has VISIONS! And WOW!

See, my enthusiasm for life is returned by fandom. Such is life.

I am going to go and try to sort out my MP3 player, as I am also in ahppy music mode - been listening to Phantom Of The Opera again, wheee! Am ignoring revision, which I will do tomorrow. You know. After training.

I do not understand the box-rattling thing. I am Very Annoyed about it in a CAPS LOCK HARRY type way, except I can't shout as my throat hurts.

Yeah that tin rattling this is illegal, as is asking someone for a donation. You're only allowed to stand there and at the most say the name of the charity you're raising money for. My Gran used to do that for Macmillan so I know it.
