Jan. 17th, 2005 09:15 pmSo, to continue with the scary Jack Straw thing, I first saw it by linking an old Demon Headmaster book. Bitter irony that I just spotted? The book was called The Prime Minister's Brain.
*freaks out*
Jack Straw is the true secret power! We hear so little of him, the quiet man in a leading position! GORDON BROWN IS BUT A COVER UP! PRESCOTT... well, we know he's a bit of a berk. JACK STRAW IS TAKING OVER GOVERNMENT!
*boggles*
I needed that light relief to make up for the rest of the day. For English Language exams, you get pre-release material, you read it, you put it into an appropriate context depending on the question on the day. This year's topics?
-The Panama Canal, which I've had an instructive half hour finding on the globe. I assumed it was in North Africa. Turns out it's in Central America, below *peers* Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua and I think some other places I can't spell. Who'd have thunk it?
-Noah's Ark.
Oh, god.
However, on a much brighter note, CHARLES II HAS HAD A STROKE, CONVERTED TO CATHOLICISM, MADE JAMES PROMISE 'TO NOT TELL POOR NELLY STARVE' AND NOW HE IS DEAD! DEEEEAAAAAAADDDDDDDD! NO MORE HISTORY REVISION! I am SO happy. All I have to do it LEARN the buggar.
This is all. I just wanted to write that down. Tomorrow I need to take 'Dracula 2001' into college. You all laughed at me when I bought that, saying that it was crap and that is ruined the story! But it has Gerard Butler in and Gemma wants to see it! LAUGHED YOU DID! MAD THEY CALLED ME!! BUT WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!!!
I will move away from the caps lock now.
