loneraven! The cake is baking. Metaphorically. You know, it's a spirit cake and it will be ready for you when I next see you. As everyone seems to get an over-emotional message for their birthdays, I can but join in for Iona. She is the link between me and the Resident Lunatics, and as she says fairly often "You could have lived in Guam!" A chance e-mail, a chance fanfiction, a chance sig tag and so a friendship was born. Despite the fact she lived about 14 miles down the road from me and I worked out that I knew where she lived ("I've parked by your house! I think") we still kept in contact via daily e-mails and never actually met. Until, of course, SG5. That was a good weekend. She bought along Emily and Clare, and it was the True Beginnings of the Resident Lunatics, or it was as far as I'm concerned. Iona is my intelligent friend - Oxford-accepted (PPE, scary biscuits) who writes the best fanfiction I've ever seen in my existence. She is a generally wonderful person and she's our Watcher. In short - it's her birthday and she is great.
I am at college, by the way, and I am not having a good day. I'm trying to contact Dad to get a lift home, and may English go HANG. I don't CARE and I've forgotten my history notes as such HAVE NOTHING TO DO and I am PANICKING because I have EXAMS TOMORROW and things are just not going as I had hoped today. And I wish they would. But there we are.
I'm going to try phoning home again. Really need to get those history notes...
