... I have done no revision today. I do have a date for my driving test (7th July), a dentist appointment (21st July) and a Fathers Day present. In fact, five of them - little Penguin paperback books, 5 for a fiver. They're actually rather good and I felt all cool and arty as I bought them. Especially since I bought P.G. Wodehouse, George Orwell, H.G. Wells, some arty bloke I've never heard of, and erm, Jamie Oliver. Well, Dad likes cooking.

I have also straightened my hair is preperation for aforementioend job interview, and now I'm just debating what to wear. Straightening my hair is a bloody nightmare and there's always bits I don't quite catch properly. The end result isn't bad, but eh. It also makes me all gross and sweaty because for some strange reason, having my hair hiss at me, steam and two pieces of ceremics at 210C makes me sort of nervous. So the roots don't get some properly.

Also bewailing the fact I'm actually not going to be able to eat tomorrow. Alas. And to get to current job, I have to leave the house with my mother at 8.30 cos I'm too stingy to get the bus.

Oh, woe is me. Etc. Still, here's hoping it all goes okay and I actually find the damn place. What with the fact no one has ever heard of it, it's not in the Yellow Pages and we only sort of have a clue about where it might be after fifteen minutes with the Formby A-Z. (I'm so glad my mother's line of work includes her having stuff like this.) I suspect it's a cult out to brainwash me. Or use me for a human sacrifice. Well, at least I'll be sacrified wearing my good luck trousers.

Yes, I have good luck trousers. And very nice they are too.
